Fra’Mani Sweet Basil Smoked Sausage
Spicy dijon mustard
Salt & freshly cracked pepper
Place Fra’ Mani Sweet Basil Smoked Sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cover with water and boil for three minutes. Drain water, add a small amount of oil and brown over medium heat. Cut the sausage on a bias into angular slices.
Slice open a fresh roll with a serrated knife, lengthwise. Add provolone cheese slices to the inside, then toast or broil it open-faced until the cheese is melty, and the roll is golden brown.
Place the cooked sausage onto the melted provolone inside the toasted roll. Dollop and spread some spicy Dijon mustard over the sausage and top with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and salt and black pepper to taste.
